These guards are unwearable, especially on the toes. They are uneven in thickness, the external fabric wraps around on the inside but doesn't meet, leaving a gap. Meanwhile, the seam is so badly sewn that a very uncomfortable tab of fabric sticks out on the inside. I can't begin to imagine how anybody thought that something so badly designed would provide comfort and help decrease wear on ones fingers or toes. All I need is something that slightly separates my 4th & 5th toes, not something that takes up the space of almost another toe and chafes both of the toes I'm trying to separate.
