Don't give them your business.December 14, 2009 Born2Late(New York, USA) My experience in ordering some of these directly from Fisher Scientific? I ordered two boxes in September. I finally received one box in December. They charged $15 for delivery/handling. They also added state sales tax (I've never paid tax for online purchases). They also tacked on a fuel surcharge (fuel is back to cheap. Has been for over a year, now.). So, on a fifty dollar order. I was charged an extra $20, w/more charges to follow when the other half of my order was finally ready. I'm canceling everything, & returning it. Who the H*ll do they think they are? Charging thirty dollars to deliver a fifty dollar order (if they can actually produce the product), isn't the way to make friends.
Warm, but good first defenseOctober 8, 2009 A. M. Wagner(AZ USA) I find these warm to wear. The real question is, will liquid resistant, 95-out-of-100 particles repelled, be sufficient. Only time will tell.

These 3M, 1860 masks are excellent for their medical job and service use as certified by NIOSH. However, some sellers may be trying to profit from the swine flu. All respirator masks are not certified the same. If a seller operates a business other than in the medical supply field (such as autobody paint and supply, or auto parts, or other related fields, etc.) do your homework on them before placing your order. You may not receive the product you are looking for. Remember the old addage, if it sounds too good to be true, it just may not be true. Do Your Homework.

I wouldn't buy from this seller if there was an outbreak and everyone was sick and dying. Notice how the original price is $70. Thats for when they have to justify why they increased the price during an outbreak to $50,$60 and $70. I complained of the price gouging that happened earlier this year. You would be wise to stock up now while the prices are low.
Protection MaskJuly 4, 2009 Sister Sadie(USA) I purchased this mask for several reasons: 1) Protection from viruses
2) Allergies 3) Cleaning with strong chemicals. These are the three most important reasons I purchased 3M - N95 Respirator/Flu Mask and so far it seems to be working very well.
